Herbal Remedies for Hair Loss

As women grow older, the more their estrogen levels reduce, which could cause a reduction in hair growth.

However, certain herbs and natural sources contain estrogen. The increase in estrogen levels causes a simultaneous decrease in prolactin and (DHT) and the effects of androgens, which are male hormones that could cause hair loss. Here are a few natural herbs that help treat your hair loss:

Ginkgo Biloba

Popularly known as the ginkgo tree or maidenhair tree, this Chinese herb provides nutrients to hair follicles. It also helps with the flow of blood to the head and scalp to aid hair growth stimulation.

Garlic

This strong flavored herb known for its health benefits is also a hair growth stimulant, it is also a remedy for hair fungus. It has allicin for hair loss treatment and selenium-containing Vitamin E to improve hair health.

A simple recipe is to crush a few cloves of garlic and add olive oil, then, apply to the roots of the hair follicles.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is known for treating different kinds of skin infections. However, the gel in it has been proven in Mexico to handle hair loss, soothe your scalp and restore the natural pH balance of the hair and scalp.

Hair Oils

Popular hair oils including castor, rosemary, jojoba, amla, coconut, carrot, and other oils should be massaged into the scalp in areas where there is hair loss. Regular use of these hair oils stimulates hair growth, strengthens hair follicles and gives a thicker head of hair.

One example is Rosemary Oil. This oil is a favorite in the Middle East, and it is used as a hair tonic to stimulate growth. A simple recipe is to mix two tablespoons of your shampoo with two tablespoons of rosemary oil and massage your scalp with it before washing. Also, a tablespoon of olive oil can be added to the mix.

Another example is Amla Oil. Its popularity is known as the Indian Gooseberry. It is noted for strengthening hair follicles as well as, stimulating hair growth, prevent breakage and split ends. The recipe is to mix two teaspoons of amla oil with two teaspoons of lime and apply to the scalp, leave it for 3 hours and then rinse off. Continue with this recipe for improved hair growth and strength.

Green Tea

The antioxidants present in this herbal tea are helpful to reduce the activity of the enzyme that converts testosterone to (DHT) which causes hair loss.

Ginseng

This herb helps reduce hair loss by first treating the hormonal imbalance that causes hair loss by introducing plant-based estrogen to the body. Ginseng helps stimulate hair growth by stimulating the endocrine gland to produce the natural hormones that aid hair production efficiently.

Capsaicin

This is the primary ingredient in most hot peppers in Mexico, is used to stimulate scalp and hair growth. It is also known to strengthen hair roots and stimulate hair follicles.

Different methods are available for hair loss; however, using natural herbs and supplements like PRIMAL HAIR requires patience as the process is often months to produce long-lasting results, but has fewer side effects while giving you healthy and strong hair follicles.
